How to Earn Cash from Amazon Receipts with DataDance Wallet

As online shopping has become one of the most common ways to spend in daily life, more e-receipts show up every day, from Amazon orders to other online purchases.
Many shoppers then ask a simple question: Can we earn some cash from these e-receipts, just like we do from paper receipts?
In practice, many experienced receipt rewards hunters find this hard. Most receipt rewards apps still focus on paper receipts. Users need to install an app, scan a paper receipt, and upload the image.
Also, even when some apps add an online option, that option is usually tied to specific brands or specific products. That setup means shoppers must buy those items first, and only then can they get cashback. This puts the cart before the horse.
So, DataDance Wallet comes in.

How DataDance Wallet Works for Online Order Receipts

DataDance Wallet is built for this exact gap. It is a receipt rewards app designed around online consumption, so users can earn from online order receipts instead of relying on paper scans. In the current flow, users can upload valid online order receipts directly from the order page, starting with Amazon orders. Users do not need to link shopping accounts, and users do not need to buy specific products just to qualify for rewards.
This matters because most shoppers already have their own spending habits. Shoppers should not need to change what they buy just to earn a small amount back. DataDance Wallet is designed to work with what users already have, which is their existing order history and receipts generated by online purchases.

How to Earn Cash from Amazon Receipts with DataDance Wallet

DataDance Wallet is built to support receipt uploading across online shopping platforms. The core logic focuses on structured e-receipts from online consumption.
Because online receipts are structured data, DataDance Wallet provides a component that can read the order page a user opens and extract the relevant receipt information from that page. The system can then verify whether the receipt record is valid, without requiring users to link their Amazon account or connect any shopping platform account.
At the moment, DataDance Wallet has opened receipt uploading for Amazon orders. More platforms are being developed, including Booking and Airbnb. The long-term plan is to support a wider range of online consumption receipts as these integrations expand.
Also, DataDance Wallet is currently available through the web version and through the iOS app, which can be downloaded from the App Store worldwide. In this article, we use these two versions as examples to show how users can upload their first Amazon receipt and get their first cash outcome from online receipts through DataDance Wallet.

Using the Web Version (Chrome) to Upload Your First Amazon Order Receipt

On the web version, after logging in, open the Rewards page and choose the Amazon Data Collection task. This is the entry point for uploading your Amazon order receipts through the browser experience.
The first step is installing the DataDance Uploader plugin. When you click into the Amazon task, the system will guide you to the Chrome Web Store, where you can add the extension to your browser.
Inside the plugin, click Amazon to connect the extension to your Amazon order environment. After this step, the status will change to Amazon Connected, which means the plugin is now ready to work with Amazon order receipts.
Once Amazon is connected, you can continue with the Amazon Order History task. Click Navigate & Start, and the plugin will guide you to the correct Orders page before running the upload process.
Once you are on the Orders page, open the DataDance plugin again. At this point, the interface will switch into the task view, and you will see the Amazon Order History task ready to run.
Click Start, and the plugin will automatically read the receipt data from your order history page. The system will identify how many valid orders are available, and it will calculate your rewards based on the current points rule.
Right now, each verified order receipt earns points at a fixed rate, and the total points will be issued directly into your DataDance Wallet account once the task is completed.

Using the iOS App to Upload Your First Amazon Order Receipt

On iOS, the upload component is built into the app. Users do not need to install any browser extension.
After logging in, open the bottom menu and tap Rewards. On the Rewards page, you will see multiple data upload options. Find Amazon Data Collection and open it.
Inside Amazon Data Collection, tap Submit Amazon Order Data. The app will take you to the task screen.
On the task screen, you will see a built-in Browser view. This is where you log in to your Amazon account. After you sign in, open your order history and enter the Your Orders area. On some accounts, you will see the entry Track & Manage Your Orders. This is the page you need to open before the upload can run.
Once your Orders page is open, tap Get Data. DataDance Wallet will read the receipt data from the Orders page you have opened. The system will check which orders are valid. Then the system will calculate the points you can earn under the current rule. After the task finishes, the points will be credited into your DataDance Wallet balance.
This is the iOS flow for uploading Amazon receipts and earning points inside DataDance Wallet.

Conclusion

After you complete your first upload, you will see your Points balance increase directly inside DataDance Wallet. This is especially noticeable if you already have many past Amazon orders, since valid online receipts are not limited by short windows.
Once your balance reaches 750 Points, you can visit the Redemption page and start redeeming rewards. Users can choose benefits such as Amazon gift cards, other supported gift card options, and even membership-style perks like an annual X Premium plan.
You can also keep your Points balance in the wallet, since more redemption paths, including cash-based options, will be opened in future phases.
